I am going to be in Richmond Saturday and am drivin throu Charlottesville to get there. I plan to stop at a bottle store on the trip. What are people's opinions, what is the best place? I've been to Beer Run and stopping there is the plan now, are any of the Richmond stores better? Ideally I'd like to find a store with some hard to find/different beers, bu if the selection is the same every where then I would want to find the place with the best selection of bi bottles at the best price. distribution between the 2 cities is fairly similar though C'ville gets some DC Brau and Foothills stuff Richmond doesnt, while Richmond gets Hardywood Park and Dark Horse that C'ville doesnt. I''d just hit up Whole Foods in Short Pump (extreme west end of Richmond) on your way into town from C'ville and you should have all of your bases covered.
