Richmond: Specific to this Monday (2/5)

Strangeways and Ardent both have Monday hours.

 

Honestly if I were visiting RVA for one Monday, the Answer and triple crossing would have more than I needed between them for that night.

 

I’d go to Triple Crossing early and then The Answer. Beer’s amazing and so, too, is the “house band,” Mekong Express. Unless you hate great music ...

 

Yeah Triple crossing and answer/mekong will be plenty for one night.

 

I echo the above.....Triple Crossing, The Answer and Mekong are all you need. Between Mekong and The Answer you have nearly 100 unique taps including the highly popular Andalls at both spots.

I don't know how they have been voted best taproom for 4 consecutive years by that other site but if you are in town today, Strangeways is doing $4 full pours from 4pm - 8pm. It's been a few years since I visited the RVA taproom but when I stopped by their Fredericksburg location a few months back the beers were much better than I remembered, They are usually one of the more pricey places so the $4 is a really good deal for them.

 

So they are straying away from $18+ flights, that is a good deal.
