Just went there tonight and while it's not a great location, the beer is SOLID. If you're in the area 43/Wadsworth, it's well worth the visit. I'd probably go there 10x more often if it were closer to downtown. Wheat Ridge, consider yourself lucky. Be sure to get their double IPA & RIS (Monolith), their session IPA & rye stout excellent as well. I hope they have some sort of distribution plan in their future as I'd buy their beer at local restaurants a lot.
I was there about a month ago and enjoyed it. Nice people there. Talked to Rick and Josh. Solid beer. I think their first on-premise tap was Hops and Pie a few weeks ago...they were stoked. Small set up, but they have a varied line up
I really need to head over there. Heard nothing but praise from everyone who has been. That part of town is finally starting to fill in a bit.
Colorado Plus is close by. Arvada Beer and Yak & Yeti aren't too far either. They make some nice stuff. They've got a good selection for being so small.
Odyssey Beerwerks just opened near there as well. Near Sheridan and Ralston. Rick at Rickoli knows what he is doing when it comes to making good beers.
Yea, been to Odyssey, Arvada Beer, De Steeg and Colorado+ (which hasn't served their own beer *yet)... Out of these though Rickoli deserved it's own thread.... it's above par for sure.
Rode the bike to Rickoli on Monday night for the second time. Like what they do and have had a good time there. Have to hit Odyssey still.
Rickoli was a nice place, and everyone was easy going. They had several BA beers going at the time, our favorite was the BA Peach. But Monolith and Thrilla in Vanilla also deserve a mention
