Anyone know if Right Brain Brewery in Traverse City is open at their new location? Heading to TC next week and thinking about stopping by if I can talk the wife into it. I'm already dragging her to 7 Monks, Short's and Jolly Pumpkin. One more might be pushing my luck.
No. They're waiting on county officials to give them the okay. Maybe by the time you're up there they will be? You can probably get ahold of them through Facebook or E-mail and request a tour though.
Not open, but if you are going to push your luck, take her to The Filling Station. Good beer, awesome location.
Good news! I just noticed a post on the Michigan Beer Guide site that Right Brain has re-opened. I see that they are also on the list of participating breweries at the Michigan Brewers Guild U.P. Beer Festival this weekend.
Went and had a bourbon aged amber ale (which was great) and a soured amber that was blended with a bit of an IPA and barrel aged (also great). Good to have them back. Blurry pics of the menu. :/
They've done jackshit on their email and FB page to announce their grand return. With that said, solid taplist!

Glad to see they finally re-opened. I was looking forward to stopping there when I was vacationing in the area earlier in the summer, but it will have to wait until next year now. Wonder if they will be at the Detroit beer festival in October.
I know they are at the UP festival this weekend. I'd think they would go to the Detroit festival too. They really need to get their name back out there. They reopened to very little fanfare. I live here, and I heard almost nothing about it.
