RIIP (2021)

Nice to see one of my local breweries dropping more can’s recently. Pretty much all west coast clear hoppy IPA’s. I know they do hazy’s too. Where’s Raider Bob in cans? Haven’t seen it since their new canning machine was installed.

 

Yeah, RiiP is a mile & half west of me while Beachwood is a mile & half east from me. So I like to walk the wetlands down to RiiP and have a few, sometimes with Super Mex lunch and walk back or have the wife Uber me back. Pretty convienant. Looking forward to Green Cheek opening up down PCH past RiiP next year. I always hit up Windsor on my Friday Beer run day. RiiP cans have been showing up there lately. Thank god tomorrow is Friday.

 

Thx. Before RiiP & Beachwood showed up there was Beach City. Remember them? I got to know the brewers really well. Shared many bottles of the Big 3 from ABC and Kern River bottles back in the day. Harrison is now the head brewer for Beachwood Blendery. Derrick Testerman was the head brewer for BC. RiiP was just starting up as a Growler delivery service for HB residence. Wow! Beer delivery to the house. What great idea. Then they opened the PCH/Warner location. Derrick Testerman took over as the head brewer after some turmoil at RiiP. Now Ian & crew is in charge and cooking up some awesome recipes. I like how they keep true to west coast style ipa's. And their hazy's are worth a pour too. Keep them west coast can's coming. West is still the best. What are those other 2 breweries nearby my house? 4 Kids? Oh no wait 4 Boys. Thats it. And Fleshpoint. Terrible. Dont bother.

 

Yes. That is the latest word/rumor. We shall see next year if that happens or not.

 

Revvin and RiiPin is on tap and in cans at RiiP right now. Don’t pass on this collab with Revision. 2 great breweries join force to create a “Raul” style west coast ipa. Cans are moving fast.
