Yup. Beer & pizza. Better yet, pizza & RiiP beer.

My dream has come true: a south HB Riip location.

As much as I like the scenic route to their current OG taproom, going that far for a couple of four packs is a drag sometimes.

And I won't say no to good pizza.

 

Stir Hazy should be canned into 4pks. My favorite RiiP hazy and probably their best hazy. Playa is okay. Picking up their newest 4pks Mountain Lingo. Looking forward to some pizza with my RiiP beers.

 

Picked up their collab hoppy lager some time back, always super cool to see some lesser known hops (Lorien) getting put in the mix. Apparently one of the beertenders recognizes me now because I'm in all my riding gear when I get beer to-go.

They should be opening up the new location soon and I wonder if there will be a can release to coincide with it. I'd like to see a stout 4 pack but I'm down for whatever.

 

Swung through Riip on my way to the airport last tuesday. cool little spot and some very tasty beers. will def have to hit up the pizza spot on next year's adventure.

 

I’m glad you made it to RiiP. Only a mile & half from me. Same with BeachwoodHB. Looking forward to their pizza/beer restaurant.

 

Been following their IG account ... boy that pizza is looking super tasty and they use the highest quality ingredients ... can't wait!

A couple of my questioned answered here…

One question remains…When in March is their soft or grand opening?

It’s nice to see some of interior remaining and that they’ll have bands playing. But I assume it can get really loud inside. Plus RiiP beer festivals in their backyard? Bring it on bros Ryan & Ryan.

 

Just read that RiiP Two is open.

 

Officially open on the 15th per their Instagram post. So exciting!

 

Again, I don’t do IG anymore. I read someone’s Untappd review and yes they did have a soft opening on Friday with special events till Monday. They officially open the doors to the public tomorrow, Tuesday.

 

PP San Clemente is Orange County...barely. A solid 30 min drive from HB though, so nice to have riip slangin pies up this way!

 

Definitely a nice location tucked away in a lot next to Home Depot. Parking was busy but doable. They opened at noon, not 11. Starting today they will be open at 12. And the hours are not set in concrete for now. Still in progress. Sad to say I never stepped inside Fitzgerald Irish Pub back in the days. But I thought the inside atmosphere was open, bright and rustic like with a touch of class. Brussel sprouts reminded me of the ones at Green Cheek. I’m still hoping they bring them back one day. 2 slices of pizza, riipin bowls & stay loose. Both good. Maybe add some more jalapeños and pineapple on loose. Dankster Squad to wash it down. No I didn’t finish it there. Too much. Large to x large slices and heavy on the sprouts. If you like Detroit style pizza then make a trip to see the Ryan & Ryan bros hard at work. Not closer than their pch/warner location but close enough for pizza & beer. That’s 1 down and 2 to go. Waiting for Beachwood and Green Cheeky.

Do they do to-go orders on their pizza at the new location? I'd love to take a four pack or two home and a pizza on a day where I'm not able to venture there with a friend.

 

Sure, why not? And have a pour while you wait for the pizza. But going solo to RiiP isn’t a sin. I’ve gone solo many times.

 

On Warner in the Meadowlark Plaza (Meadowlark airport for those who remember). I think it’s the old Wells Fargo. Maybe Gabe will keep the vault and use it for special gatherings, say for a Beachwood Club. Literally a half mile walk for me.
