Damn cant wait for the details, just expanding their system it seemed like everything was going good.

 

Damn that's rough if true... Ian and Chris only a few months ago, and then the previous head brewer at the end of last year...

I've noticed a shift past few months of fruity ipa's whereas originally it was just legit ipa's with the hops included listed. Unsure if that was Trevor's doing or management.

 

I started to wonder when I kept seeing the same beers either unfiltered or on nitro. They haven't been making much new shit but I didn't start to put it together till now.

The Ian/Chris incident was pretty petty over stupid shit after what they told me what happened. As far as I could get info, just seems Billy n Trevor had some serious issues with Ryan n the other owners and just ended up bouncing. Currently brewers from smog city and Gunwhales are helping out temporarily.

 

Damn also forgot about Mark too, thats 5 employees that had beef wth owners or were fired.

Skip is only one I know thats left... *sigh*

Oh yea, Ian is at green cheek now so thatll be nice.

 

The owners seem like solid dudes. Business is business. People come and go Webster we like it or not.

Finally made it back to RiiP.

 

There should be some new stuff rolling out this week, the beers brewed with Smog City and Gunwhale.

 

Good combo.

 

They're receiving brewing help from Beachwood and Smog till they hire the right brewer. When I hear stuff like that, it really makes have a tremendous amount respect for these guys. Very cool that Gabe and Smog stepping in to help.

 

Derek T from Gunwhale has been there a few weeks now. I believe Gunwhale is looking for a brewer. Just saying.

 

Bottles of Raider Bob are tasting mighty fine right now, heard 4-pack cans of Super Cali and an on draft pilsner are next.

Super Cali in 4pk cans > 16oz I believe.

 

Swung by riip this afternoon and tried Dan K and Super Cali. I though both were excellent.

Washed them down with a combo plate from SuperMex!!!

 

But...the Surround Sound Burrito from the Secret Spot!

 

The Secret Spot is good too. But that Super Mex? It's a bit closer walk to RiiP. Lol.

 

Dropped by during a quick trip to the beach, I really dug their Last One Standing session IPA. I for one love the reimmergence of flavorful sessions. Time to get out from under the haze!

 

Back to the core of west coast IPA's. The haze is here to stay. Choices.
