Anyone going to Riot Fest this weekend ? Wonder what craft offerings will be available inside... Also if anyone is going, planning on hitting up Lagunitas before/during/after ? A few friends and I might be going before Sunday's show and wondering if we will be able to catch the Bears game there - anyone know if they have TV's in the tap room ? Cheers! John
All Rise I see around. No Magic Hat afaik. Lagunitas is great if you're leaving early or showing up early, as they are a short 2 block walk. Unfortunately they stop serving beer at 8:30 I think
The Wonder Beer from All Rise is a pretty decent Pale Ale. I had it a few years ago when they went by Greyskull (and must have been contract brewing somewhere since their brewhouse was not built yet) and the beer has certainly improved since then.
they have A tv. They'll have the Bears game but i don't think they'll have audio. if you want audio and good beer section, a few stops away on the pink line is The Barrel. right under the El on Damen and 21st. Check it out.
Wait, there is a brewery named after Naked Raygun? Well done to those guys. Guess I need to pay more attention...
FUN FACT: All Rise is connected to and owned by the bar/concert hall Cobra Lounge. Naked Raygun practices in the upstairs loft of Cobra.
All Rise Brwg.'s equipment was purchased from the Moonshine Brewing restaurant [on west Division St.] when it went out of business.
