A great friend of mine and fellow BA, jwinship83 passed away last night. He leaves behind his wife and young son. Not sure if any of you guys knew him, he lived in Naperville and was pretty active on BA and doing beer reviews. I remember him trying to review a beer a day and he made it over a month straight or so haha. I began trading with him long distance and visited him last year as he took me to my first Dark Lord Day. We had a blast and have always kept in touch and traded often. Going to miss him tons.

    Please drink one for James.

I was lucky enough to meet him at Flossmoor Station a few years ago, he was a tall guy with a big heart. We kept in touch only sporadically, but i'd see him around at various events over the years. He was really good at writing about beer. My condolences to his family and friends... cheers to James, you'll be missed.

Saw the name around but he was no one I had the pleasure of knowing. Any time we lose a member of our community it is too soon, it sounds like this time it was much too soon. Here is to your lost brother and his family he leaves behind.

I met James a year ago at Alewatcher and Oreos birthday party. We live pretty close and became friends in the past year. He was a great guy and will be missed. Thanks Yesac for starting this post.
