Met James through his sister and had a blast at the fests when he would come visit her in Boston. Great guy and always a fun trading partner. My thoughts are with him and his family, way too young.

 

Didn't know him personally, but to echo kzoobrew it's always sad when we lose a member of the BA community. RIP and condolences to his family and friends.

I met James through kenm2118 about a year ago. He was a great guy, funny and a huge heart! He always shared his great beers, he will be missed!! You are at rest now James.

Wow...my sister just called me. She was good friends with him in HS and I knew him also. Had no idea though that he was on BA. Very sad to hear.

 

Hey guys - My name is Lauren, I'm James' younger sister. It's really nice coming on here and seeing the support from everyone for James. He was a fantastic guy - an amazing father, husband, son, brother, and friend. He really loved BA and I was able to meet a number of his BA friends throughout the past couple years, and you all meant a lot to him. Craft beer was the bond that brought us together, and I'll always remember him through that.
