DDBA was probably the most underrated in the series, but definitely my favorite right next to parabola.

This sucks, the only thing that will make it better is another amazing barrel aged creation from them.

I was going to open one of my first release bottles last night to have with dinner, but changed my mind at the last minute. And now this.

I sincerely hope that Firestone invests in expanding its barrel program before it invests money in brewing more 805.

Well it is understandable that space constraints have effects on business decisions. And i bet DDBA wasn't the best seller of the boxed beers but it's still dissaappointing.

    Oh well.

Of course, maybe well finally get Helldorado in bottles!
They did finally bottle Stickee Monkee which is of course the best thing they make after Parabola, so there's that.

ISO: DDBA-barrel-aged single malt scotch from Tullibardine. And I don't even like scotch.

whaaaaa? so underrated. going to go grab a few this week and throw em in the basement.

this beer was the first one to open my eyes to the magic of the Firestone Reserve Series.

Farewell, 'beer that got me to appreciate Bourbon Barrel beers'. Here's hoping your replacement does the same for somebody else.

Keeping in mind we're on BA, there is a huge spectrum of flavors in single malt whisky depending on where it was made. From light and fruity Speysides commonly aged in wine barrels, to a rich and smokey Highland like Tulibardine.

One of my favorites, sad to see it go. I have no doubt FW will replace it with something pretty damn good though.

Fantastically complex English BW, and relatively easy to obtain.
Salute! Aloha! Chow! Props to the DDBA posse from Cali. I will be sitting and chilling on 4 in da cella.

I said to myself the other day, " not going out of my way anymore for Parabola or Scucaba" but DDBA is worth the $$. As smooth as warm butter on cool black leather. Hmmmm

The only move that can console me is if FW replaces this production with Parabajava. It's the right thing to do.

    Moment of silence...
