This 12-pack includes 3 of each of the following years:

    2011 • 2014 • 2016 • 2020

Maybe you figured out the golden ratio.

Then again, I can get 4 cases of Trumer and a 6-pack of Radeberger Zwickel for a dollar more -- with no shipping.

(and probably be able to drink them faster than a 12 of Bigfoot! :grimacing:)

Where are you finding Trumer cases for $20? Hook a brother up!

$10 12-packs -- grabbed 2 last week. Have to wonder if there are any left... I'll be right back.*

    (long way from Cali, though)

*Bah -- sale's over. Back to the $11 regular price.:wink:

Kind of the root question of this whole thread.
What is a "good" customer and why is it important/relevant/etc.?
They're a business, not your buddy, something a few posters here seem to have forgotten.
Basically what some people have been saying this whole thread: what they're doing right now by adapting or trying to adapt. Maybe the direction isn't what a good portion of the people in this thread want or agree with, as we've seen, but it's a business run by some smart people (otherwise they wouldn't have existed as long as they have) with the data at their fingertips that led them to make these decisions. Time will tell if they made the "good" or "right" decision.

I’ve got a Crowler of summer fest , and 4 packs of Ruthless Rye and Pale Bock coming tomorrow.
I’ll try not to rub it in too badly

Yup. That is indeed the critical 'question' here.

    Cheers!

P.S. And if the result of the decision(s) is that they have poor financials in the future the business folks will claim it is because of changing market conditions vs. the fact they made poor business decisions.

If it is all about being a business and profit just clone Budweiser and gain instant market share but Sierra Nevada is supposed to be Craft.

I don't think that's exactly how that works.

According to their FB page Summerfest is sold out already and went quickly. Of course one could argue that only happened because of the circumstances but then again...

Entirely possible they produced a limited supply of Summerfest (this go around).

Maybe @SierraTerence can let us know if another batch will be produced? Summer just started a few days ago.

    Cheers!

Craft breweries do produce the American adjunct lager style. Look at Founders Solid Gold.

AB-InBev has decades of loyal customers and millions of dollars of marketing in that equation as well.

Sierra Nevada doesn’t do that volume of marketing and their loyal customers are probably drinking Pale Ale.

I dunno, Sierra Nevada’s Oktoberfest will probably hit shelves next month…

He mentioned on Sierra Nevada Live that they are hoping to get some more packaged. Can catch the details on it @ 13:50 below. Also, gets asked about it again during the Q&A @ around 53:00.

We are working out the logistics on brewing more... One of the issues is finding enough time on our production canning line to produce something not on the schedule. We are currently running our can lines almost 24 hours 6 days a week.

We trying to figure it out...
