The next big hazy brewery, maybe. A friend brought back their APA,
River Roost Swamp Monster In Love, and I am pretty sure they will be all over the best bars up there soon enough.

Anyone made it out there yet?

I have been twice. Everything I tried was a good offering. Very impressive for a new brewery. Great little taproom too. A pretty good BBQ place across the parking lot, so can get some brews and food.

Swamp Monster in love was great, as well as My Darlin and Miller's Daughter. My Darlin is a wheat pale. Great easy drinking brew.

How easy is it to get to off of I-89? My wife and daughter constantly want us to stop for dinner at Chilis in West Lebanon on our way to Vermont (or back), and I could use a solid alternative.

Its pretty easy to get to. Its in the center of WRJ, plenty of parking. Its just a tap room though. There is food at BBQ (Big Fatty's) in same parking lot, or restaurant named Elixir.

Another option off of 89 would be Flying Goose Brewpub in New London. Just a few minutes off of exit 11. Great pub food. Pretty good beer (their own).

I had convinced them to stop at Flying Goose once, but the place was mobbed that night so we went on. Does Big Fatty's have any decent taps?

Yeah, it does get packed. Big Fatty's doesn't have great taps, but I wouldn't be surprised if they start having options from River Roost.

The best taps off of 89 would be Worthy Burger (10 min off 89), Worthy Kitchen (15 min off 89), Waterbury options, Three Penny Taproom. It depends on how far into VT you are starting. Not many great options in Lebanon area tap wise.

A bit up the road from the Chili's you mentioned has a Pizza place named Ziggy's that has a decent tap list.

You could try Margaritas across from Dartmouth Hitchcock hospital. West Leb coop next door has decent beer selection of stuff not distro in vt with good prices:clown shoes Firestone, Newburyport, great northern,

Might give Ziggy's a try then. Our house is in Rochester, so we get off at Exit 3. Worthy Burger is great. Used to stop at the Peavine restaurant. Wish someone would buy it and make it a brewpub.

7 Barrel Brew Pub is also right near Chili's. I would say its "ok" food and beer wise. Some love it, some don't.

Big Fatty's has great tap options often. I got Foley Brother's Prospect there last Friday and I know they often have Fiddlehead brews on tap pretty often.

On the new brewery though, I'm super impressed by them. I've been twice so far, work in Lebanon and live about 30min away and having beer of this quality so close is super exciting. Swamp Monster is an amazing beer with a super dank aroma and apparently only a single hop beer with just eureka hops which shocked me when the Brewer told me. Had a good chat with him last Friday and he's supposed to have a new beer this week. All the beers are pretty low abv but don't taste it, going back this week for the new beer.
