    • We are delving into new territories at River Horse these days and aging some of our delicious brews in barrels for an extra, unique flavor. These beers will be packaged in 750mL bottles and sold exclusively in the gift shop in Ewing, NJ. Limited draft will be sent out to distributors; it will not be on draft or available for growler fills at the brewery. The Barrel-Aged series will be released on Friday, August 22nd at the River Horse. They will be sold for $15 each, or three for $40.

    • Tripel Horse aged in Maker's Mark barrels - 815 Bottles
    • Oatmeal Milk Stout aged in Maker's Mark barrels, blended with Oatmeal Milk Stout aged on coffee beans - 560 Bottles
    • Brewer's Reserve Berliner Weisse aged with tart cherries in white wine barrels - 758 Bottles

Good lord. I didn't realize they had that rabid a following. I would've enjoyed one of those.

No. Although someone on their Facebook said he was limited to two bottles of the stout after others had bought cases of it.

The original post mentions over 2000 bottles combined.

That is not what they sold. 200+ of the Oatmeal, and 300+ of the other 2. Rest to distro I guess and maybe brewery events or something else. Will have to see what RH says about the rest of the bottles.

Your info contradicts what is posted in the OP, so which is correct?

Also, lack of bottle limits explains the quick sellout.

They said today to check their facebook, website, etc for announcements on distributors who will get bottles. Call them, see what they say.
