Seems Riverhorse is looking into a site in Ewing. Don't know if they are moving entire operation from Lambertville or creating perhaps a brewpub or brewery expansion but the wheels seem to be in motion. The place in consideration is a 2 minute drive from my work, which makes it a prime location.

Didn't they have some problems with the building they are in? Flood or leak or roof collapse. Something like that.

I was there earlier this year and the tour guide mentioned that they were looking into moving. I believe she said something about the expenses at their location being too high.

I believe the roof collapsed last year because of Hurricane Irene.

I heard that river horse has cramped areas for keeping supplies. So moving may be a good option for them.

went to riverhorse when it first opened. is very confined. I thought i read they are at 9k capacity could be wrong. factor in operating cost, cost of property repair, and particularly property taxes in Lambertville which is outrageous for those in the know, a move would be finanically better, especially if they take advantage of the new beer laws taking effect and they could put a small pub area on premises. Final determination will be determined if they can meet certian criteria and permits for discharge. still in the evaluation stage.

This is also several minutes from my work as well, so yeah, pretty cool if true.

This is true! River Horse is moving onto Graphics Drive right off of Lower Ferry Road. I learned about this over the summer, they're moving into on of my client's old buildings. From what I hear they're moving just about everything and might be in line for a small pub, too.

Does anyone know about the coffee beer River Horse made with Rojo's Roastery in Lambertville? Rojo's is by far my favorite coffee shop/roaster and I'd love to try what they came up with.

I'm 99% certain that this was the same beer that was at the Oatmeal Milk Stout release event. They had 4 casks variants: chocolate, mint vanilla, Frangelico soaked oak chips and coffee. The coffee was my favorite of the 4 and I'm definitely looking forward to trying it again. I thought it was a tad thin on the body, but the coffee really shines.
