Tranquil is the name of our new non-adjunct BA stout. Normally, we brew a stout and throw some into barrels and release the rest fresh. With our new Tranquil series, we constructed the stout specifically for barrel aging without having to worry about how it tastes in the short term. It'll also be what we do when we get some truly special barrels such as the Pappy barrels we recently filled.

1) Tranquil Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout
Dark as midnight and rich as all get-out, Tranquil is our new, non-adjuncted barrel-aged stout. With this beer, we wanted to let the barrels really shine without any additional sweetness from adjuncts. A blend of imperial stout aged for 22 months in Buffalo Trace and 16 months in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels, this stout is everything we’ve dreamed of brewing since long before Riverlands opened. 22oz bottles, 14.5% ABV, $25 per bottle, limit two per person.

2) Barrel-Aged Gravity Void Imperial Stout
Perhaps you recall our original Gravity Void imperial stout? We took our rich imperial stout base and added hazelnut, cocoa nibs, and cinnamon to create a truly delicious pastry stout. Aged in a blend of 22 month Buffalo Trace and 16 month Heaven Hill bourbon barrels, the result is a boozy concoction of lush waves of chocolate with wonderful notes of hazelnut and cinnamon. 22oz bottles, 14.5% ABV, $25 per bottle, limit two per person.

Yeah was equally impressed with Tranquil and BA Gravity Void. Good crowd but also chill. Plus Chuck’s Pizza is on. Nice way to spend a Black Friday

 

both beers are delicious but tranquil steals the show. blown away.

first time trying chucks pizza, fucking fantastic. the six cheese and bacon is exceptional .

easy peasy lemon squeezy. hell of a black friday dudes.

 

Both are top notch! I’m a sucker for hazelnut so heavily biased, but definitely worth your time

 

Tried both on tap and really enjoyed them but Tranquil was a standout. Glad I got two bottles. If you like hazelnut then you'll love Gravity Void.
