    Hey everyone!

So I'm going on a road trip through a bunch of states, and I just so happen to be going through Montana, a touch of Wyoming and Idaho.

Montana/Wyoming: Traveling on 212 from South Dakota; hitting Billings, going down to Yellowstone, then to Bozeman on 90; then up 287 hitting Helena, up to Glacier and along 2 to Whitefish; then along 28/90 to Idaho
Idaho: Traveling on 90 to Couer d'Alene, then to Washington

If anyone has any suggestions along the way or just outside that's worth it, I would love to know--thanks!

    Uber Brew in Billings
-more medals at GABF in 2016 than any other Brewery. Great beers, great food, and an awesome space. Best beers in MT, at least best hoppy beers IMHO.

Try to find some Melvin when you're in WY (no MT distro yet I don't think)

    MAP in Bozeman

    Blackfoot in Helena Is great

Tamarack on the north end of Flathead lake is really good. They had a IIPA that won Alpha King in 2016. Lots of great beers on tap there. Whitefish is an awesome town, probably my favorite spot in MT. Their are some breweries there but nothing amazing. Eat at Tupelo though, one of my favorite restaurants in all of MT.

Here is a current link for the Bozeman area: https://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/jackson-wilson-wy-and-bozeman-mt.508898/

Personally they are better beers than MAP in the Bozeman area. Like I posted in the other thread, I personally believe the top 3 breweries in Bozeman are Bridger, Bozeman and Madison. Not taking anything away from the other breweries by any means, but I think they have the best beer. For great food and great local beers, 90% Montana beers, I'd recommend going to Montana Aleworks. For the best steak house you'll ever try, I recommend going to Sir Scott's Oasis in Manhattan, about a 20 minutes drive west of Bozeman. I lived in the Bozeman/Belgrade area for 20 years, until I moved to Kansas 4 years ago, thee beer scene has changed for breweries, you can't go wrong with going to any brewery.

Wasatch is definitely right about Uber, as well as a bunch of other good breweries in Billings. I also recommend Angry Hanks and Carters, but Uber is a good stop. I also think Lewis & Clark in Helena has good beer, but probably the coolest taproom I've been to, awesome environment.

Cheers, and hope you enjoy your road trip.
