Hey all - I'm heading to Boston for a long weekend and looking for a few recommendations. I plan to hit New England Brewing on the way. Feel free to chime in with any must-stop breweries. Cheers!

Where in PA are you coming from? Do you know what route you'll be taking, or are you making that secondary base off of possible stops?

Heading up on I-78 right through Woodbridge. NEBC has always eluded me, and I need to stop there.

Beer’d brewing in stonington CT is worth a stop

Depending on the day, tilted barn in Exeter is a great option they’re now open thurs/fri/sat

Proclamation (Warwick), Long Live Beerworks (Providence) are also both excellent Rhode Island options ... as is buttonwoods (Cranston , RI)

Obviously subject to route etc, but highly recommend both Fox Farm in CT and Suarez in NY. Both making amazing beer, and have killer spaces to hang out and have a beer.
If you're going anywhere near Worcester, MA, armsby abbey is worth a stop. It's a restaurant with great food and always the best beer list in New England (outside of Hill Farmstead taproom...).
    Have fun

Right. Missed the NEBCO part of your post. I highly recommend Counterweight Brewing, they're one of the top breweries in CT right now and they're only about 15 minutes northeast of NEBCO. If you're continuing to Boston on I-93, I really like Beer'd in Stonington, CT. Also nearby is the Engine Room, which usually has some top notch CT beers on tap, including Fox Farm, and has fantastic food. Fox Farm is fantastic, but has more limited hours and is a bit out of the way north from I-93. Proclamation in RI is great and would be right on your route to Boston, and there are some other nice breweries in RI too along the way (Tilted Barn, Grey Sail, Long Live Beerworks).

Armsby Abbey is awesome indeed! Stopped there several years ago on a Vermont trip. Thanks for the recommendations.

It's a long drive from PA, so especially with all the brewery stops you'll want to make sure you have plenty of piss jugs.

Grey Sail is awesome in Westerly RI. Captain's Granddaughter is a must get!
