Not sure where to find the info I am looking for so I figure I would turn to fellow beer geeks. Next week I am driving from Grand Rapids to Bentonville, Arkansas. I did the trip last year straight through but this year we are stopping in St. Louis so I have a little more time. I'm looking for a recommendation of a place to stop around Bloomington, Illinois for food. Likely too early in the morning for a beer but maybe not. Wife is a food nut so something cool/trendy to get me some bonus points would be appreciated. We'll probably pass through late morning if that helps.
Destihl Brewing has a brewpub location in Normal, IL just next to Bloomington, and they open at 11 am. I've been there only once but I remember it as being very enjoyable for food and beers. https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/16389/
There is an app for iOS called BreweyMap. You set your start and end point and how far off the path you are willing to travel, then it will tell you whats out there.
