River Lake Rye is probably the best Rye IPA I've ever had. Awesome hop combination, perfect body.

My first time trying Concordance and this is the closest to Urquell that I have had from a US brewery.

Not to knock RT or your perception of Concordance (I like them both, a lot), but did you ever get to try the New Glarus Unplugged Bohemian Lager? That one really reminded me of Urquell from many years ago.

Wonder what Dan did with the recipe?

Finally picked up a 4-pack today -- planning a sample over the weekend.

New email update today: Accordance returning, new IPA, and a new Rauchbier (Muse of Fire)!

Just in time for my annual Dry January. :frowning2:

And what's this Czech Half-Dark Lager (Recordance) thing?

I'm a little surprised how few people have heard of Polotmavy. It's somewhere between Czech pale and Czech dark lager. Admittedly, ours turned out a little closer to the dark side on this first attempt, but still quite different than our CDL in flavor and aroma. We'll have all 3 of our Czech lagers serving on Lukr faucets starting tomorrow at opening. The rauchbier is possibly my favorite beer we've ever made, but I'm just really into rauchbier. This IPA is also one of my favorites we've done as well.

Don't use me as a benchmark of fan knowledge for Czech beers -- they've just never been in my wheelhouse -- though I'm definitely enjoying their American renditions lately.
I'm going to try to be out and about this weekend, so I'll be on the lookout for the Czech and Rauch beers. Will they be dropped at the usual locations?

Next week they will be delivered to any accounts that order them. As far as I know, they will only be available at the tap room this week.

Found the Recordance in Gurnee today, Muse should be in next week. Opted for some Helles for the weekend and to save for after January.

And rather roasty, too. From what I've been learning about the style, the Polotmavy should be similar to a Vienna Amber, but maybe hoppier?

Nonetheless, the Recordance is another delicious beer from RT.
