Out in Rochester NY & Canandaigua area. Was hoping to maybe find a shop that still had Parabola or Mexican Cake around as I know it gets distributed here. It's a long shot but figured I would ask. Just looking to take some nice bottles home to the mitten. Please let me know if there are any hidden gems out here :-)
AJ's in Henrietta is a good spot, but Rochester is a fierce market of truck chasers. Those two beers will sell in less then a hour in any shop in the area. There's a place in Auburn near Syracuse I know things stay a little longer then the Rochester market. All those people who say there are stacks of BCBS in WNY are speaking of a different time.
You will still find great stuff trust me. Jacks Abbey is always available for one. Also the hess gas station in Bushnell Basin is a beer store that looks like a gas station.
Cool. Hopefully will find some hidden gems. Either way I love crooked Stave and I found some out here last time. Maybe I can find some FW beers too
If you're looking for rare beer in Rochester, you're gonna have a bad time. You're better off visiting some of our breweries, check out Naked Dove in Canandaigua, Stoneyard in Brockport, Prison City in Auburn, or Abandon in Penn Yan.
