Rochester, MN suggestions

    Hey MN BA's,
    This is a last minute effort here, but my wife is in Rochester today for work and just asked me if I could get some suggestions for a low key place to have dinner with a good beer selection. She's working at Mayo so something close to there (I have no clue about Rochester's size) would be preferable. Thanks for your help!

    Does Taphouse have food yet?
    Otherwise, I really enjoyed 300 1st for food , and a decent but small tap list

    They have little pizzas at the taproom. I'd grab a couple beers there then walk to Newts or City Cafe for dinner.

    I don't know about their beer list but I hear really good things about Pescara, newt's has always been overrated in my opinion, but opinions are like.... (you know the rest of the saying.)

    Mango thai and Chester's are also good and close. Chester's usually has something good on tap.

    I agree, the tap house has a great beer selection, atmosphere plus their roof top just opened

    Their food is just snack food basically, city cafe, newts, Victorias, Chester's are all within walking distance!
