Anyone know of any breweries or good beer bars open on Thanksgiving? Also, feel free to post any can't-miss breweries here. Heading there for our annual Drinksgiving trip, so any tips from locals would be appreciated. Cheers!

IDK what will be open on Thanksgiving but as far as breweries:

    1) Strangebird
    2) Fifth Frame
    3) Nine Maidens
    4) Iron Tug
    5) Three Heads

Dope food and brews all over Rochester, the city will treat you right.

    Ditto above.
Haven’t had Nine Maidens or Iron Tug yet so I’m substituting…
    3) Swiftwater
    4) Three Heads is a cool place, the beer is good too.
    5) Rising Storm (at the Mill) is open now.
    - 1880 Blossom Rd, Rochester, NY
    6) Mortalis is a bit South
    - in Avon just off exit 10 from i390.

    as for bars…

Just call them and ask about T-day hours.

    Have fun!!

Thanks for the suggestions. All 5 of those are on my list. I weeded out a few based on reviews and their web sites, but all of these look great. Cheers!

Was just in Rochester and One Stop Brew Shop was a highlight of the trip. Beer store with a good selection of singles as well as 16 taps, choice of 16 or 32 oz crowlers, and a friendly staff happy to talk beer.
I liked the Mortalis taproom in Rochester much better than the actual Mortalis brewery in Avon. Great food and atmosphere at the Richmond spot.
Fifth Frame was empty when I visited. Good selection but bartender was not the best. Gets up from looking at his phone to serve me a few small pours, then goes back to sitting down and looking at his phone the remainder of my visit.
While it's just the two of us in the entire place.
I'm not looking to be best friends but damn, give a little effort.
Strangebird was the most lively place, with a nice mix of standout lagers as well as IPAs and a couple of high ABV stouts. They were doing a lot of cocktails as well.

This has been my experience as well. HOWEVER, and I stress this, the quality of their beer is quite good.

Thanks guys. Fifth Frame is on my list. Hoping to find at least one place open on Thanksgiving. There are two bars right by our AirB&B that are open, so that's a plus. :-)

Not sure if you're in Rochester or outside it somewhere, but Frequentum Brewing in Canandaigua is open 11:00-2:00 on Thanksgiving.
