I will be in Rochester next Monday and will have a free evening. Do you have any suggestions for bars, breweries or bottle shops to visit?

I'll be taking the Rochester Places page into consideration as well.

    Thank you!

Only option on a Monday night there is Tap & Mallet. Everything else is closed.

Fifth Frame Brewing. It's also a coffee shop and they've got some solid food options. Didn't grab coffee or food when I was there, but the beer is terrific.

Also definitely hit The Playhouse/Swillburger. It's a pretty impressive arcade (every game from your youth you'd remember + tons of pinball), they've got a great craft taplist and an in-house burger spot. And it's all in an old church so it's an extremely cool space all around.

The Magnolia Café is great for lunch/dinner and its in a good spot to walk around if its nice that day.

Dogtown has the best hot dogs you'll ever have and with a million creative varieties and combinations.

Bottle shops are AJ's and Beers of the World but those are both in Henrietta and not Rochester proper.

Thanks. Found this as the top rated place here on BA. Didn't realize everything else would be closed.

If you find yourself in the Roch not on a Monday night, Nosh restaurant was the best meal I had there. Nosh is also next to Three Heads Brewing which was decent. Swiftwater is worth a visit too.
