I'm gonna be in Rochester next week at the in-laws. Specifically the east side (Ontario, Webster) and would love to know what bottle shops are around. I can't sit at a bar, just stuff to take back to the house. Thanks. Oh, almost forgot, I do need to go to a bar Sunday afternoon to watch my NFL team and would like to hear opinions of good place to watch a game and get a good drink! Thanks again!

In Webster go to Hegedorn's off of Hard Road. A little bit further along Route 104 you can stop in to Aman's Farm Market in Irondequoit. If you're willing to drive a bit further go to Nathaniel Square Corner Store in Rochester or Beers of the World in Henrietta. Most of the Wegman's have a decent selection too.

If you're limiting yourself to the Webster area to watch the game then Macgregors on Empire Blvd. is probably your best bet. They have some issues with quality and I've personally experienced dirty lines there but they do have good beers on tap and TV's to watch the game. TC Hooligans in Webster is a good place to watch the game but they have crap for beers. Same goes for The Coach Bar and Grill.

Like Mark Said, Beers of the World in Henrietta is a sure thing.

There is a Hess gas station in bushnell basin which has an amazing selection for the east side. I would say Hegedorns is your best bet for Webster. As much as I want to like Beers of the World, be ready to pay higher prices, old bottles and staff which can be extremely rude or indifferent to your questions keeps me away most of the time. Donnellys in Fairport usually has some great beers on tap and beer events going on. Try visiting custom brewcrafters if possible for growlers and tasting of 3 Heads Brewing.

I'd go for Nathaniel Square Corner Store over BotW. The latter is pretty bad at stocking fresh bottles. But it's a cool store nonetheless!
