Rodenbach - Alexander (US Only release)

Landed in Ohio. Seems to be highly allocated from what I can decipher of which stores got it / didn't. 12 bottles landed at the shop in CLE with the most buying power. Other shops that sell Belgian stuff got none. I would guess 6 bottles for any shop that actually got some. My 2 cents.

I second that, it tasted excellent. Tart, crisp, and very balanced I thought.

 

Never was able to find this here in West Michigan....Had multiple stores distributors looking for me....Nada....Pretty disappointed....

 

It made a very small showing a few weeks ago, was able to grab a few bottles, really delicious, like a Grand Cru/New Glarus Belgian Red cuvee.

 

I have actually had 3+ chances to buy at the same shop and have scored 6 bottles total. Popped one and it's amazing!

 

I had every local shop asking distributors for me here in Kalamazoo and nothing.....

 

Opened a bottle upon release and it was sickly sweet.... Couldn't finish the pour. Had it on tap and it was delicious! A little wary on opening my remaining two bottles but the consensus is that its amazing. Maybe a bad bottle?

 

Ended up with 7 bottles from my travels and local shop. Opened one, it was very sweet. I plan on letting the rest hang out for a bit.


Found a stash of them in Asheville yesterday at the Appalachian Vintner if anyone is looking in that area. 16$

 

I was finally able to pick some up through a trade....Will be brewing this upcoming weekend will be trying it then....Excited to try it.

 

A second drop is occurring in Illinois. I've seen some in both the city and north suburbs

 

It is still siting on shelves everywhere in northern Vermont.

 

Didn't even make it to Michigan....I had to get through trade....Wish it would have I would have plenty for the cellar

Where? I was told by distributors from Imperial, Sheldon Bros that it didn't make it to Michigan....I know it didn't make it to the Kalamazoo area....I would have even drove a ways to get it...

 

Quite a few stores in Grand Rapids got it!

I grabbed the only bottle that I saw which was on the shelf at W. Main Mega Bev about 2 months ago.
I was shocked to see it but scooped it quickly
