This is bottle conditioned, and macerated with fruit, does it develop positively or does the fruit fade with nothing gained?

My bottle is about 6 months old. Any good/bad experiences?

I thoroughly enjoyed an 8 month old bottle recently but some of the fruit had mellowed. It won't get 'worse' by any means but it's not as good with time in my opinion either.

Had a bottle at ~6mo, then ~1yr. Fruit fades with nothing gained and there's always a possibility of something going wrong via oxidation, etc. Unless you're willing to experiment with longer-term aging (3+ yrs), I would drink it fresh.
