Can anyone who has aged this beer let me know their experiences? I have heard wildly varying reports.

Was just talking about this with a few people. General feedback so far is that 2009 is pretty sour right now. 2010 is drinking amazing at the moment.

Good question, OP. Anyone have a grip on evolution over time? I picked up an (if memory serves) 2011 with the idea of giving it some time... but how much is a good question.

The point behind the vintage bottles is they're already cellared for you before bottling. Though you will see changes with storage, they're meant for consumption sooner rather than later. That said, you can age them but without as much benefit as you would a fresh bottle (non-vintage).

I don't think the bottles are cellared.

Instead of being a blend of old beer and young beer like Grand Cru it is all 2 year old beer from one foeder. The year is the year the beer went in the foeder.

edit: oops, just realized you wrote cellared before bottling. Oh well, I'll leave this post anyways

I had an 08 late last year that was awesome. The sourness actually seemed to have smoothed out.
