Hi this is my first post on BA , so forgive me if I am not posting in the right place or if it's a dumb question. I just found two ceramic bottles of the beer in question in a closet I forgot that I even had I want to say they are from 2017, but i can't find a date. I wasn't sure if pilsners can be aged but I was wondering since it is an imperial Pilsner it might be able to. Thanks

What’s the ABV? If it around 8% or more you should be good. They are still very drinkable and likely smoother than fresh.

Worst case scenario: it tastes bad and you pour it down the drain.

Also for those rogue ceramic bottles the date is laser etched (black on black usually) somewhere on the bottle.

thanks for the info. They are 8.15 ABV, and even though the bottles are white, I can see nothing, and I used a magnifying glass as well since im blind. I know i got them from work about 2 years ago, when they were supposedly just going out of code, and just forgot to drink them. I found other bottles i forgot about as well, Rogue Chocolate stout, Rogue Brutal, Boulevard Sixth Glass. Anyway, thanks again.

I remember that one- it was “ok” when I tried it long ago, but then again the pils style isn’t really my thing. Drink up and let us know if it was any good!

My initial thought regarding that beer was "no", but if they're already two years old-plus I'd definitely say no. Open one up and see what you think but I'm going to guess that they haven't improved and are probably worse for the extra time in the bottle.
