I thought it was surprisingly good, but I don't especially need to try it a second time. I was good, but not $13 good. I'd rather get their chocolate stout and save some money.

I thought it smelled like salami or some other sort of lunch meat. Was not very spicy. It would have been ok if it wasn't for the smell. I just couldn't get past the fact that it smelled like lunch meat.

If it were not Rogue and the hot sauce was not sriracha, people would like it more...perceptions...

I'd buy it, but I haven't seen it on the shelves yet. I'd probably drink half and make a chili with the other half.

Stay away from beer...or life in general...microorganisms rule the world...we wouldn't have beer without them...

I'm so sick of Sriracha, its not nearly as good as people think. Every commercial is in someway about a Sriracha burger or some other gimmick. Dave's Insanity Sauce, now that's a hot sauce!!!

I believe that if you've tried any of the Rogue Voodoo Donut beers then you aren't allowed to be disappointed in any future Rogue gimmick beer including this one

I took a chance on it, but my hopes were too high. It's not bad, just a stout with chilis. But it in no way tastes anything like Sriracha.

I love Daves Insanity but they are two totally different types of sauces. Sririacha is not made to knock you on your ass or trick your friends into eating it, it's simply made to add a nice kick to your food. Everyone is capitalizing on the Sriracha craze but the actual guy responsible for bringing it to America (Founder of "Huy Fong Foods") has such a great american dream success story. You should check the Wikipedia page.

If you don't have time the short version is that "huy fong foods" is named after the ship that brought him safely out of Vietnam when the greatest country in the world granted him asylum. It's hard to hate a family owned company with a story like that. Cheers!!!

I don't hate the company or the family, I just don't understand this new found Sriracha craze.

I'm with you on that one. I see people out here in LA with Sriracha tshirts and red water bottles with a green caps. I guess it's really "in" to like sriracha right now.

It's the kind of beer you share with a friend and enjoy once unless chili beers are just your cup of tea (or pint of beer)

I don't even drink Dead Guy, so why the hell would I buy this? If I wanted to give money to some DB who doesn't deserve money, I'd donate to a politician. No thanks.

Overpriced and overrated. I'd rather buy/drink CW's Space Ghost at $6-$7/ bomber.

The last 3 bottle shops I've stopped in have tried to sell me this. I politely say I'm waiting for someone to tell me it's actually good instead of saying it's such a cool bottle. I don't know anyone personally who's tried it and $14 for a bomber of beer that will likely be "interesting" at best - I don't think I'd chance it.

He was kicked out of Vietnam after the war because he was of Chinese descent, the boat took him and hundreds of other deportees to Hong Kong. The British didnt let them in and they sat in the ocean for days. They eventually let them in and he found his was into LA.

A Chinese man expelled from Vietnam by way of HK to LA with a hot sauce used in beer made in OR. Wild
