I think you could have a decent business model if you could figure out how to turn this stuff into a candle.

After all the hate on this board for the beer, I was surprised at a recent tasting with many BA's that the majority of us enjoyed it. It just hit the Rochester market and I'm looking forward to trying it again.

I my experiences beer, or wine for that matter, gets sweeter as they age. Any alcohol bite goes away and the "crispness" that can be associated with fresh beers also diminishes. The same is going to happen to this beer. It will end up a syrupy mess. It must be said that I am not as much of a fan of cellaring as I use to be.

No arguments here. I can't imagine a terrible beer improving with age, I was merely saying it might be worth a shot cuz boy does it suck right now

I was super excited about it before trying it and bought too much to put it nicely. Its ok I guess but not worth the money spent I felt. I just opened one for the manny pacquiao fight at my friends house to help get it out of my cellar and i noticed zero change in the taste since fresh.

I was eager to try this but liquid smoke is right. After drinkning you feel like your lips smell like smoked ham, your clothes smell like you were at a bonfire.......it's just smoke everywhere.

That thing sits on the shelves in NJ, no one is buying it.

Fuckin' A BA. I loved this beer. If you got the extra money, age one and experiment away.

It's not very good at it's current age. I think it will get worse but you never know. These types of beers in general are not good candidates for aging. But hey, it's your money. What do I care what you do with it?

They have an expiration date, as my friend who runs the beer & wine department at a local store recently found out. Sooo, check that out.

I would age it simply because that beer terrifies me. It's like the grown-up version of the monster that lives under your bed.

That must be why my toes are wet when I wake up! I'm scurred...
