So I'm hosting an event with Rogue at my bar in the next month or so and I am trying to get a gauge for what brew would be a drawing point for everyone. So if you guys could just let me know what you think is the best Rogue beer it would help a ton thanks.

Double Chocolate Stout. The regular chocolate stout isn't too snappy either. I'm definitely not a fan of their happier beers. I think the hops that they use just rub me the wrong way.

Chocolate stout, Shakespeare oatmeal stout, yellow snow ipa (Out of season, though), and dead guy are the ony ones I enjoy from rogue.

Chocolate Stout is my favorite and the only one I buy regularly. Occasionally I pick up a Mocha Porter if I can't find my go-to porter.

Get hazlenut brown nectar & any chocolate stout. Pour half & half. "snickers" its sooo good. Deadly good. Taste of course like a snickers candy bar, its heavy so prolly a pint will be filling someone up.

Ah. Good to know. I haven't bought rogue in a while. The three I mentioned, I do enjoy but rogue seems a little expensive for what you get. I still have old crusty on my list to try and i do visit the brewery when I am in Newport. They got a delicious Kobe burger.

Maybe not the best beer in the world and a tad expensive ($15 a bomber), but it would be a great beer to pair with some food for a tasting. MMMM beer batter pancake on a stick

Shakespeare Oatmeal Stout and Hazelnut Brown Nectar are two of my favorite beers. Dead Guy is a good safe beer, that is decent and can probably reach the widest audience.

second this, you can go wrong with Shakespeare Oatmeal Stout, a great great beer. Even though i'm not a fan of brown ales Hazelnut Brown Nectar is great.

See if you can get them to bring in old kegs of their Imperial Stout or Old Crustacean. Those would draw me in.

I'd go with Hazelnut Brown Nectar, it's one of my all time faves to this day. It's not their biggest beer, but it sure is their tastest, IMHO..

I would get at least one probably two of the xs series(Imperial IPA, Old Crustation, Imperial stout). Hazelnut brown and dead guy. That would cover most people.
