I agree about Life and Fate. Extremely light and drinkable, great texture.

Enjoying the recent batch of One Dimensional Man, but the last can I poured just had some huge chunks of sediment. Still tasty but way more than I’d consider normal for a beer canned 11 days ago.

I had that as well, curious why some beers are like this. Phenomenal beer

Managed to get some cans for the release of the latest root and branch but very surprised to see it sell out so fast, haven't seen hazy ipa releases sell out so fast since like the 2017 or 2016 pre brewery Grimm and OH days. Anyone know what the allure is? Is it just super tiny quantities being made and or very good marketing?

FOMO basically, they only release like once a month atm and its limited amounts. It is really good beer but I think that's where the hype comes from as compared to the IPAs being released by ETNYC.

It's FOMO for me. Since they release once a month I feel like I need to get every single beer they drop. Plus, they'll be leaving Queens soon so I won't be able to make it out to Long Island that often.

The beer is delicious so that also contributes to them selling out so quickly. They're not that hard to snag as long as you're free a few minutes before 5 pm.

We brew and release 30bbl batches. For perspective: triple the batch size of Folksbier, double of Threes, the same as Other Half. Even though we only brew once a month, it’s a good amount of liquid.

Had my first can of Bone in the Throat last Saturday night, enjoying my second now. Incredible tropical fruit-forward aroma the second I cracked the can, citrus/melon/mango/peach thing for me. Swallow didn't disappoint, delivering what the nose suggested - creamy and smooth with beautiful lacing as always. On Saturday night I found the finish to be a bit vegetal/green, would say that's dropped off notably since then - nearing a sweet spot, for me at least

Anyone else try cans/have thoughts? Cheers!

Thank you hops for thought got the crazy hook up. This community is awesome!

Had a chance to try my first 2 R+B today: bone in the throat in draft and Assayer out of the can.

Bone in the throat is super soft vanilla laden orange/mango creamsicle. Reminds me of what a pinnacle tree house would taste like. It’s so smooth and creamy. Those words get tossed around a lot with NEIPAs, but R+B executed it above all others.

The Assayer to me tasted like what a pinnacle big trillium ipa would taste like if it was brewed correctly, carbed, and they somehow discovered how to have an amazing head. It immediately sings of galaxy. Like they found some 2015 galaxy or something. It has that tingly pineapple with peppery herbs thing in full effect.

I think they really do set themselves apart from the rest of the pack.

Enjoying a post run Death Party at ETNYC Dumbo, pretty delicious. A bit of grassy bitterness on the nose, citrus/melon as well. Swallow follows the nose well, fruit (get something a little more tropical/stone fruit) and that refreshing bitterness, which carries through the finish. Nicely drying, easy drinking - not much to knock

Very nice pale. The last two RB beers I've had were pales, and they know how to brew great low abv stuff better than most. Marlowe's Eager to Share, when I see it once a month fresh, and Kane Sneakbox are the only others I've had that are as well made rather than an afterthought to the TIPAs and DIPAs. They are all just sweet enough while maintaining a pleasant dryness.

I remember being a bit letdown by The Castle, nose was solid but flavor a little lacking. Dig this much more

Had a pour of Eager to Share at 12% about a month ago and though it was really fantastic. Will keep an eye out for Sneakbox!

Yeah if you're ever in NJ any Wegmans and most decent liquor stores have Sneakbox. Drops are roughly monthly so check dates etc, but definitely a great citra pale. The DDH versions are often great too but brewery only sadly.

Does anyone have a 4-pack to spare of Fear? I was away from my phone and missed it. First one since they started brewing at Evil Twin.

Yes. That’s been the standard for a bit. Although Instagram snarled the last release (visionary heads) by taking down the post of the release with some weird rule that has hit other breweries as well. The releases are shared on r+b website now and linked to purchase. Was able to snag some Fear luckily enough today. Looking forward to it.
