I'd be lying if I said that Tree House's stouts didn't inspire Anthora. What I love most about most of TH's milk stouts is that they hold the most enjoyable aspects of "pastry stout," while retaining structural integrity, balance and drinkability.

I'm not exactly sure, at the moment. The spread will be wider than past NYC drops, however.

Second the praise for Anthora. While stouts are not my usual go to in the warmer/hotter months, I found myself thoroughly enjoying a can while sweating myself to dehydration in the blazing sun yesterday afternoon.

    Well done.

@xenjoiii are you using Jeppe's hops for this batch of spectacle? Last release I personally rated it #15 overall of all the beers I've consumed....it was outstanding

Yep. Same hops, same recipe, just brewed at Evil Twin.

It’s looking like I’m going to be brewing 1-2 batches of “R+B @ ETNYC” a month moving forward. Will be running through all of the Spectacles to start.

Did Anthora already come and go in NYC? Was really hoping to try that one

@xenjoiii how are things going with the new space? I know you guys were putting in work to get the brewery/taproom up and running before covid19

The first rule about asking about the new R+B facility is you do not ask questions about the new R+B facility.

Yeah we were. We had a bank loan pending for construction. Then COVID happened. The bank won’t look at our loan until “economic activity” improves.

So it looks like R+T made it to south jersey. Does anybody else know if they got distributed anywhere else in NJ?

I'm not a huge advocate shipping unpasteurized beer in the summer time. High heat rapidly impacts the product in a negative way (especially if the box was not insulated). Nonetheless, I hope that you received an accurate representation of what was released and enjoy the beer!
