Once the world moves past the pandemic, we can talk about zwickel pours.

No non-competes with Evil Twin. Jeppe and I have a great relationship and understanding that my time at Evil Twin isn't permanent. We joke that he's behind all of our build out delays to keep me at ETNYC.

I have a more cynical outlook on collaborations. I prefer to keep it to brewing / sharing ideas with close friends / people that i've navigated the industry with. That is not to say there are not brewers that I draw much inspiration from and would be humbled to work with.

We've got a new collaboration with Hudson Valley Brewery and Test (Ben Clayton's (Blue Hill / Freethought) new project) fermenting right now. Its a DIPA that was brewed with heirloom oat varieties that Ben sourced through his connections from Blue Hill. I'm really excited about it, as I love working with oats.

I'm brewing a satirical collaboration with Greg & Pat Greenport Harbor this Friday. Greg gave me my first professional brewing opportunity. He taught me a lot back when he was the Head Brewer at Threes and I was working as an assistant. Its an amped up version of their Leaf Pile Pumpkin Ale - lots of oats, different use of sugars/spices and processes that I'd run if I were to brew a beer like that.

    Can't wait!

I thought there waa a Threes connection before LIC, glad to see I wasn't making that up.

Abysmal Thoughts is awesome. May sound weird, but the mouthfeel and texture of R+B is what puts these IPAs in a league of their own, and this last ones dialed in and indistinguishable from the GSB releases.
    Great stuff

Their beers are incredibly soft. Another great one.
And great customer service and communication replacing bad cans from last release.

    Hi xenjoiii

Some of the cans of the Galaxy Do We Live In A Society of Spectacle have arrived in Europe for sale. Same issue with a can I opened tonight, brown and oxidized. Have contact the merchant as they cost $14 a can over here! Not sure if you were aware of the shipment sent to Europe.

    Regards

    I am aware
I am aware of the shipment - it was picked up before the can release. We only sent 5 cases - I’m not sure where you acquired the can but they we’re all supposed to go to Himmeriget in DK.

anyways - I sincerely hope you’re able to obtain a refund!

@xenjoiii - kudos on the customer service relating to the recent canning issues. That goes a long way with me as think most places don’t care that much. Drinking an Abysmal Thoughts right now. This and so many of your releases are just amazing. Cheers!

Proper customer service and hospitality is just as important as the beer itself!

I'd say moreso, as a consumer. I buy average beer from great local people because I want them to continue to work their craft and succeed. So kudos to you guys for how you handle things.

I can say pretty confidently that Visionary Heads is my favorite beer of 2020 thus far.

Thanks! It’s certainly a relief. The pandemic really turned things upside down for us.

Who is providing the construction loan?
Out of curiosity is that something the tenant secures/covers vs the landlord given it's such a bespoke/involved build? Or you're actually constructing a whole new building vs building out an existing one?
