I thought I’d start one of these.

My experience with Rouge River has been excellent. The IPAs are near the top of the food chain in Ontario, and I’d say their IIIPA is the best I’ve had in the province. I tend to find most of the those a sweet and boozy mess.

My last order was a little bigger with the stouts they released a month back. They sent me a free winter hat.

    Shipping was also very speedy.

My only complaint is superficial. Their logo looks like a template from a design-your-own logo website. It may be the worst in the province.

Great to see the thread! Where are they from? I'll have to try them out (take that wallet!).

It's great how many good craft brewers have come on the scene over the years.

What type of IPA's do they specialize in?

    EDIT:
Their website also looks like it was done by a DIY'er who gave up after step 1.

    .

Rouge River is in Markham. I’ve never been myself, only ordered for delivery.

They tend towards the hazy/NEIPA. I’d say they are in a class with that group of 1/1A IPA makers (Barncat, Badlands, Wood Brothers, Third Moon, Town, Willibald, etc. ). I have a few of their stouts on hand, but haven’t got to them yet.

I actually think the website was changed fairly recently too!!!

I'll keep an eye out for them then when they get some stock what what I enjoy. Not a sour fan, but when they have enough IPA's and stouts I'll make a purchase.

    EDIT.
I just realized that their bottle shop list is what I was looking at (terrible layout like 4th & 7's site), but the online shop is better.

Totally agree they need a logo upgrade. I haven't been there in a while. The IPA's they've kept pumping look amazing. Will definitely revist in the new year.

They do some decent sours as well. I have really grown to like their IPAs.
When they started out it was just cans full of burn, but they are real nice now.

I bought their recent anniversary box and it was full of IPAs, a couple BA stouts, a great sour and some other goodies.

I must say though, it can be an absolute pain the tail end to get to at the wrong time of day. I have been caught in some of the worst traffic in memory trying to make my way there from uptown TO on a Friday night.
