Heard great things and was wondering when/if this is due to be bottled? Would like to set up ISO but don't want to waste my time. Ohio distro hops enough to get the trade done? Thanks for input?
Bottled frequently but not regularly. Sometimes makes it into distro in the Bay Area at least; best bet is someone visiting the pub.
Perfect - thanks for input. I'm dying to try it, so now I guess I have to keep my eye on RR website to see when it's available in bottles.
I've never found things listed that weren't on sale, but frequently STS Pils or Row2 don't make it onto the website but are available in the "to-go corner".
Brewdog has the biggest Simcoe contract in the world although personally I'm a much bigger fan of this. http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/23249/60323/ Mikkeller's one is quite good too. http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/13307/28793/
Had the Mikkeller in cans. It was pretty good, but didn't have the tropical character some of the more aggressively hopped (perhaps later in the boil) some Simcoe beers can exhibit.
Doubt this will be bottled soon mostly because this was just bottled a couple months ago and sold brewery only, and can't recall the last time it was bottled prior to this year's bottle release. Agree with post above - trade for a growler instead. IMO it is my favorite RR IPA.
