Has anyone else checked this spot in Fort Point out yet? Quite possibly the most interesting draft list I've seen in Boston and the prices are legit as well. Had some oysters and beers there this evening and was quite impressed.

I'll be checking this place out very soon ... I assume Row 34 is worthy enough to be listed here right? ;-)

Quite worthy. Some of the draft highlights: oude tart, imperial biscotti natale, trois mousquetaires Baltic Porter, Against the Grain Brown Note, and Freigeist biere de vie. Plus locals like Trillium (right across the street), Jack's Abby, and Night Shift. It may have been the first time I didn't even consider ordering Kiwi Rising and I love that beer!

Sounds awesome, can't wait to check it out. Are they posting their draft list anywhere? Don't see it on FB or twitter (and their website is still barebones). Out of curiosity, did they have multiple taps from Trillium or JA?

Can't find a list posted anywhere but they just opened a week ago. One line each for JA and Trillium. I took a picture of the list with my phone but I am a big dummy so I don't know how to post it here.

This has been the most anticipated restaurant opening of the Fall for me. I went last Tuesday for opening night and it didn't dissapoint, tried a Jolly Pumpkin and couldn't resist a Kiwi Rising and Fort Point Pale Ale. They had 18 drafts running and the beer director said they will eventually have 24. They also intend to offer 1/2 servings of 16oz beers which I really like. Row 34 is from the same people behind Island Creek Oyster Bar and Eastern Standard so great service and food is expected; the killer draft list and pricing was a a nice surprise.

That list must be photoshopped. Where are all the $9 pale ales?

I've been trying to stop in since they opened. It has a ton of potential.

The pricing is good dude. Seems like they're using near bottle shop markup per oz. I really feel like Row 34 has the potential to put some of the higher priced local spots in their place.

Well, there's a 13 oz MO for $7 - that's almost $9 for 16 oz. Still cheaper than the Gaff in Waltham wants for it though.

Looks like nice place to stop in for full pours of Trillium after running through the samples at the brewery.

Ha! $7/13oz. for any MBC is practically giving it away.

It was $7 for MO at one of my local joints for a stadium pour shaker pint a few months ago. Didn't think it was worth the $ for the quality. $6 for pints of Peeper at Hungry Mother were bomb a few months back though.

Hi all- new to the board, but wanted to chime in. Went to Row 34 last night and was super impressed with the beer list. In addition to some great drafts (I had Port Fresh Hop IPA, Mo, Imperial Biscotti Break Natale, and Brown Shugga while I was there) they also had a solid bottle list that included some Cantillion

Just stop ordering MBC. It's that easy. Anywhere pouring Maine Beer Co has a beer as good or better for way less per oz. Just buy that instead.

just submitted the event page to BA, but in the meantime, figured I'd stick the info in this thread given folks are interested in Row 34. There's going to be an oyster and beer (beer and oyster?) event tomorrow at 9PM at Row 34. 3 each of Island Creek (east coast) and Hog Island (west) oysters for $6 and Trillium's flagship farmhouse draft (13oz) for $6. cheers! JC

If they are not the price I think is worth it, I don't order it - same goes for any beer. But "anywhere" has a better pale ale than peeper on draft? The only pale ale I've had that is equal or better is Trillium 4pt - and they are only served in a handful of places and run out pretty quick - and not that far from MBC prices. Or should I just order a clove laden "farmhouse" pale ale/ipa or the slew of schwaggy hopped west coast ipa's that are circulating the area lately in order to get my hop fix? :grinning::wink:

I used to be of the opinion that MBC beer was just expensive around Boston, & I somewhat liked their beers. Then I was in Maine a few weeks ago & realized their beer was just as pricey. Eff them, I can easily ignore that brewery.

I went to Row 34 last week. The beer list was pretty interesting but the food was just ok.
