R truth has a chance at quickest elimination.. I had swagger last year, probably one of the worst possibilities.. You know he's gonna last a few minutes.. Maybe eliminate 1 person.. Def not gonna win

 

That's what I thought. Can't tell you how much hope I had with the #2 entry last year. Longest lasting and most eliminations, possible winner... everything felt good. Until I heard... duh duh duh (hear R truths entrance music in your head please). Visualize my emotion at that extremely depressing sound. All the hope, sucked right out. Well, maybe they'll knock him out immediately. An entry later, that hoped dashed. Well, maybe they'll let him last a while (Miz was 1, guess who is lasting longer). The false hope lingered for a few minutes, before Truth's inevitable demise. Hopes dashed, dreams crushed. Insert sad face.

Truth is simply the no win scenario. I will agree to some extent though. This year feels a bit different. This year feels like eliminated before he enters (or shortly after). Maybe truth is entry 31, if it comes to it. Maybe truth gets eliminated twice, the second time bettering his first elimination.

Trust me, you don't want the (R) Truth. Such a depressing let down.

 

I hoe that Truth forgets to enter this year and comes out on Monday during the celebration promo for the winner and talks about how he's going to win on Sunday. Then he ends it with "oh... My bad, this ones on me"

 

Just a wild idea, what about a silent/blind auction for the 31st spot?

People could pm mcb how many additional boxes they'd put into the prize pool to get #31 (in the event there is one). Say I sent him a pm that I'd pay 5 extra boxes to get 31. If I had the highest bid and there is a 31, I'd have to ship out 6 total boxes. It could increase the prize pool so that more people could win something. Just a thought.

My "best case scenario" is Curtis Axel starts coming out at the 30 spot, only to get jumped by HHH and have his spot taken from him again. Let's get two straight years of Axelmania running wild and never officially being eliminated from the Rumble.

 

Here's a question. Say this scenario happens. The #30 entrant gets attacked and someone else enters instead. Are we going to consider that person #30 or #31? Do we just wait and see what WWE considers it?

Either way, this year's Rumble seems like it has the potential to get crazy.

 

I think with how much they keep pushing then squashing Bray Wyatt...he has to take the next step at SOME point or just break up the wyatt family. every time they start to build them up, they get totally squashed.

As to the 31st spot...i cant see a real tag team winning those 2 spots...itll go to a random 2 superstar team. i would love to see sandow have a little run as they keep squashing him.

A true surprise winner would be great though. KO would be a fun champ, pop up powerbombs galore. would love to see ambrose and reigns work to eliminate each other and see a heel turn.

I'm calling Wyatt Family, Reigns, & Lesnar remain. The 3 cronies sacrifice themselves to eliminate Lesnar. Then HHH takes out Reigns. My dark horse scenario is Jericho becomes corporate champ.

 

Taking someone's spot makes them that number. In the example you provided above, HHH would be #30, not #31.

Prohibiting someone from entering the rumble DQs that person, even if someone does not take their spot. HOWEVER! This does not make the DQed non-entrant the fastest eliminated person, as participants must enter the ring and go over the top rope with BOTH FEET hitting the ground in order to be considered for fastest elimination.

 

TODAY'S THE DAY! Cleaning the house and cooking up food all day for some friends to come over and eat/RKO each other while we all cheer heartily for whatever number I draw. What are y'all drinking while watching the Rumble?

 

I'm hosting an epic Bottleshare. I know an SR-71, Master Blaster and a Miami Madness are being opened. I'd assume the other 10 or so beers we're going to open will be just as good. I just hope the rest of them aren't 10+ abv. I'd like to be awake by the time Raw starts.
