Any word on a release this year? I've been looking but could not find any news on this years release if it's happening. I would assume we would have heard by now.

    Thanks,

Nope. Assuming mid December but who knows. Either way, I'll see you in line!

If you treat Beatification like its a yearly release you are going to have a bad time.

Understood. Just moved out to the Bay Area so I can finally pick some up myself. There's always next year.

Batch 5 was Sept 2012 and Batch 6 was Dec 2013. Probably won't see Batch 7 this year, maybe early next year.

Wasn't Batch5 released in March '12 and B6 in december '13? I don't think B7 is coming any time soon

[edit] posted before I saw your post @hiimrichie

During the FFaC release at the beginning of the month I was told that it is ready when it is ready. They are still in the barrels now and with 100% spontaneous fermentation you can't put a timetable on it.

Thread-jacking, but I was told almost the exact same thing by both Alpine and Societe about their sour(s).

Almanac could learn from the philosophy of letting the beer tell you when it's ready. Their summer of sour backfired big time in my opinion, most of them seemed like they weren't ready.

Aside from the Pluot, all the Almanacs tasted the same to me... it was disappointing.

I still like them despite the sameness to a lot of them, but I think they would be so much better with more fruit added.

That's not an official RR Instagram as far as I know.

Are you saying there's a fraud poster calling him/herself "russianriverbrewing"?

I'm not. I'm just saying that it is just a random post and that in my opinion it's not an announcement:

FWIW, I talked to Vinnie a while back at an Outstanding in the Field event, and he said they were hoping to transition Beatification to a yearly release. No idea how this will end up playing out, or whether all years will have as many bottles available as the last release, but I hope so!

I'd heard something similar quite some time ago, but unless batch 7 is on its way really soon, I'd say so much for that plan (since batch 6 release was last mid-December).
