RR Growler Policy

There was a recent clarification of an existing liquor law by the California Dept. of Alcohol Beverage Control regarding the ability for Type 01 and 23 licensed breweries to fill each others growlers. We were under the impression all these years it was NOT okay, or was at least a gray area, therefore we did not want to take any chances. Now apparently it IS clearly okay. However, there are still many restrictions and hoops we have to jump through, one being we still need LABEL approval by the ABC. We (RRBC) have submitted our application today via snail mail for our new growler neck-hanger "label". If and when they approve, we will begin filling other growlers. We will also have our own internal company policies which will be shared when the time comes! For now, that is all I can say about this new direction on filling other growlers. Just came in to start this thread. Now I can get my 27 growlers from other breweries filled there.
