I've heard that some can be found in or around Philly, and I'm interested in picking up a few like Supplication, Temptation, and Consecration if any of those are around. So my question is which ones could I expect to find and where would be the best place to look? I'd be coming down from the north (Lehigh Valley) so the farther north or closer to I-476 or a major road the better. Thanks.

if you're in the city you could try either of the foodery locations or hawthornes. if they have them, they'll be like $18 each though.

Wow I didn't realize RR shipped out this way. Any chance you can find any closer to DC?

Philly is the only place east of Colorado that gets RR. Bottles and draft of many 'tions. Plinys and Blind Pig are draft only.

Edit: and as mentioned above they can be found throughout the city, but it's not as if there is any store that will have them in stock or on tap at all times.

It should be mentioned that due to the wild west nature of distribution in DC, bottles from all over the country and world have been found at various bottle shops there, albeit at a high premium. I've definitely seen reports of people buying PtE and other RR bottles there in the past.

Conn Ave Wines get them in from time to time, along with PtE. I'd give them a call if you are interested.

Just called myself to check it out. They are getting in a shipment today they expect Pliny at least, maybe some more. I will definitely check this out later, thanks!

Cool! The prices are quite high, as a warning. Pliny sells for $14!! I never bought Pliny at that price--I forget what the RR sours went for.

Jeez. That's a rip off. We get it for $4.99 here in Seattle.

Well, the store is ordering it online and then selling it. Quite a bit of overhead like that.

As far as Philly, if you don't mind putting out some upfront money, generally you can find a case of 12 for around $130 at various distributors.

It costs a lot of money to move beer across the country outside of regular distribution channels.

I can't imagine someone spending $14 on a 12 oz. bottle of Pliny when they can get 2 bombers of Double Jack for basically the same amount.

Isn't there a reason why RR doesn't ship bottles of Pliny related to the quality control of such a long haul?

You probably forgotten because you never bought one. I went there
Hoping to get one for maybe $18 and they were marked at $30. Well fuck that

Check Bella vista. You might be able to get a case. My local distributor has a case of damnation sitting around. Had the sours back in the winter. Pretty reasonable when you break down the per bottle cost.

    Enjoy
