RR sours in SF

    As mentioned, there is a Healthy Spirits in the Inner Richmond. I used to live there, and its very safe. Not at all related to Richmond, CA. Other than that, your best bet is heading downtown to City Beer, or other parts of the city for various bottle shops.

    27th ave just north of Cabrillo, but I'm a relatively recent transplant. Also, forgot about Blackwells...although their beer selection is spotty, it's worth checking out.

    The Richmond is pretty damn safe as long as you don't cross the Bratva or the Triads.

    The Urban Tavern, which is the bar in the Union Square Hilton, almost always has Pliny and Blind Pig. A few days ago, City Beer (a quick cab ride, or even walk) had Temptation on tap. Also, Toronado in Lower Haight isn't that far from Inner Richmond--I've never been there when they didn't have Pliny and Blind Pig.
