Beachwood BBQ is catering; they catered for the RS Barrel Night and the portions were generous. If it's anything like that night, you'll have more than enough to eat!

Yeah, + 1 on this. Anytime beachwood BBQ has been involved, I certainly don't go hungry. They were also at their 2nd anniversary (not sure about the 3rd) as well as you mentioned the RS Barrel Aged event, large plates of food both times. The trucks work for the Bruery's smaller events, like the Clusterforks, but events with over a thousand people drinking, need to be catered imo, need a solid base of food for those high ABV beers.

Awesome, thanks for the input everyone. It sounded like there would be plenty of food, but I wanted to make sure. Especially since I am going to the early session and would not have a heads up if I needed to eat before hand.

For what it's worth, I would still recomend having some kind of breakfast beforehand, and not have this be your first meal. The event is 3 in half (10:30 - 2: p.m.) hours afterall, and drinking makes me hungry.

Oh definitely. I always make sure to eat a good amount in the morning before a beer event. I was just wondering if I needed to eat right before the event or make plans for right after. I usually wake up early and eat around 7am, so not eating much until 2pm mixed in with drinking would not be good.

Hopefully I will run into you at session A. I am getting excited for the event!

I'll be in attendance at session A (10:30 AM - 2 PM) with my buddy Jimmy, who is the beer orderer/manager at Far Bar in DTLA. Looking forward to seeing you guys there.

I'll be at the morning session too, glad to hear I'm not the only one who decided high gravity beers and BBQ could be an awesome breakfast.

Attending the afternoon session, but would definitely be game for some kind of bottle share after the festivities.

I'll bring your ice pack with me! And knowing myself all too well, I figure I better pick up my allocations the night before.

And as this is St. Patrick's Day, for anyone wanting to get their Irish up after the RSI, the Fenians are performing that evening about a mile away from the Phoenix Club at a place called the City National Grove of Anaheim.
