Nothing but silence so far, here, and the RS Forum. Guess will find out tomorrow.

Posted up above, based on e-mail from Patrick, it's 10 2oz or 4 oz tasters. He also mentioned they are contemplating the chance to buy more. Wish all this info. was posted at same time tickets went on sale, or at least days in advance.

I won't be going but am curious to hear what people think of the kriek, as I haven't put my order in yet and am trying to determine how many bottles to get. Any reports will be appreciated.

To clarify, yeah I saw the PMR post about 10 taster tickets & 2 to 4 oz pours. My question was on the mentioned 15 tasters from BA fikes73, (a few posts back) which so far appears to be a rumor, with no confirmation.

Also no confirmaiton on more tasters tickets being available for purchase, with less then 24 hours to go. (a nice option at their 3rd anniversary) It's tomorrow at this point, so one can only go with what has been posted at this point. I'm splitting the difference personally, so it's basically about a 3 oz average, or about 30 oz in all, plus food.

Also I 100% agree with you, this info really should be available when tickets go on sale, so consumers are clear with what they are getting at these events for the price of the tickets, or at least a general idea. ( i.e. "limited taster tickets, or open tasters for 3 hours")

Session A: The entire event was covered within the tent, you will not need an umbrella unless you plan on walking farther than your car to the tent. Beachwood BBQ portions were on the small side, you might need something to eat before/after especially if you're driving. Here is the bottle list, sorry for the quality: http://imgur.com/a/lU9tZ

Sour in the Rye with Kumquats... I think I drank 4 of that, which was like a full 10 oz. I liked it is what I'm saying.

Session B: Ample plate of bbq- chicken, pork, brisket. Didn't come for that, though. Oude Tart with Sour Cherries is amazing. Patrick says we should see in a bottle in a year or so. Everyone had Chocolate Rain= one happy crowd.

How many taster tickets per person?

edit: Also, did anyone try the Smoking Wood with bacon?

Ten. And I had a sniff of Smoking Wood - the nose was much more phenol/bandages than bacon.

I was finally able to put together a Melange 1 Grand Cru - Oude Tarte w/ Sour Cherries blended with Chocolate Rain. Beautiful.

My favorites of the day though: 2009 BA Autumn Maple (aging INCREDIBLY well), Mother Funker (wish I had bought more bottles), and Taps Balinese Imperial Stout (a phenomenal beer if you like good coffee).

Fun to do a green St. Paddy's Day glass of Humulus Lager with Centennial hop oil too.

I did, it was kinda gross. I didn't really like regular smoking wood, though, so adding more SMOOOOOKE to it wasn't great.

As soon as I sober up enough to drive I am going to provisions and buying a case of that beer. It was so fucking good. It rivaled the Beatification B3 I had at -tion night. It might be the best American Wild Ale I've ever had. I know that seems hyperbolic, but very few American Wilds approach a lambic or a gueuze. They're always simple, one dimensional, boring. Don't get me wrong, I like them, I enjoy them, but they lack the complexity of the spontaneously fermented beer. Mother Funker doesn't, it has that complexity. You smell the funk, the gym socks. You taste it, along with the sour. It's all there. It was a complete sour, everything present in balance. Loved it.

Sour in the Rye with Kumquats was the most memorable beer of the night for me. Although Chocolate Rain was still my favorite.

Mixing CR with Oude Tart w/sour cherries was just amazing. I had a great time, I think 10 tasters was a good number.

It doesn't really taste like a "kriek" per se. Don't get me wrong...it is an enjoyable beer, but the sourness comes and goes very quickly-I would say more tart than sour. The Otiose seems to me to be the superior effort-the guava is VERY evident.

I think the Taps coffee stout was only palatable with a heavy addition of Chocolate Rain. The blend was awesome (props to spry for that). Otherwise, it was like drinking extra concentrated Folgers.

I actually thought the Smoking Wood + bacon was about as good as you could get... adding bacon to a beer.
