Ruidoso beer

    I'll be in Ruidoso later this week and looking to find some La Cumbre Elevated and Odell Myrcenary. Any recommendations?

    I don't live in Ruidoso, but have experience with this...You're not going to have a whole lot of luck looking for beer there. The best spots I've found are the Thriftway on Mechem (right across the street from the Western Auto) and the IGA (also on Mechem).

    There are not that many great places. For beer, I always end up at the main grocery store off of Mechem. If I want beer on draft, check out dreamcatcher. It closes early and is open randomly, but they have the best taps in town (only maybe 10?) but they are cheaper and have decent beers.

    You do not go to Ruidoso for beer....though.

    Thanks for the tips. I was shut out at the Walgreens Liquor on Sudderth last night (decent selection, just not anything that's not available in Texas). I'm going to make a run down Mechem now.

    No luck on the Odell or La Cumbre. Thriftway seems to be the best bet though. I did get a 12 day old sixer of Marble IPA. It's pretty tasty.
