This was an interesting IPA. It wasn't what I was expecting at all. I thought it tasted like a combination of Enjoy BY and Ruination. Recently, I had 1000 IBU and I thought it might be like that. However, it is surprising that Stone can have so many nuanced IPAs that all taste different. It seemed like it had so many hops that it wasn't super hoppy anymore, like I feel that Enjoy By and Ruination are more hoppy tasting. This one seemed like a great malt hop pairing. It was good and complex.

unlikely we'll get it anytime soon. Boss says he was only allocated one case from the supplier. i don't know where you live, but i believe they have Lunch and several other MBC beers at the Wine Source in Hampden.

i don't know what turned me off about the Ruinten, i liked enjoy by and ruination. perhaps i should have tried it on its own and not after tasting several other DIPAs.

Well, if anyone feels like taking it up the can, the Perfect has graciously increased their already stupid price from $13 to $15 per bomber. Maybe if I go back next week, they can increase it $20! Effers!!

Depends on the current availability around town. As long as you can still find it around town without too much difficulty, I would assume they'll maintain the current high price. However, should they discover or decide that they're virtually the only store that still has it available, then the price will sky rocket. $20. $25. $30. There's really no telling how high they'll jack up the price.

Shrug. One thing I'll say about the PP, they're certainly consistent when it comes to sticking it to their customer base.

The Wine Harvest in Potomac has at least a case left at $8.99 a bottle.

Thanks man. Not as bad as I would have thought for MoCo. Thought it would have been a couple bucks more for sure.

While Beers & Cheers has had some outrageous prices - Ten Fiddy 6-pack = $20.00 - they have decent prices for West Coast beers such as Stone and Bear Republic; which could be because of the distributor.
