Going to try and take an early lunch and hit escondido before it gets too crazy.

 

I've seen Pivo all over the place in the La Jolla - UTC area, or at least I did last week.

Yes monday I didn't specify the day did I? lol going to hit Oside after work that same day. Monday's going to be busy!!

 

Davis Nugget has it, as of about 5 pm on 6.12. About 30 bottles maybe, minus the four I'm takin home.

 

So by the time it is supposed to be released it will be all gone....nice!

I thought I came across a bottle last night, then I noticed it was the bottle from last year when I got home.

 

Look for it in the Bay Area next week.

 

What's the point in holding this beer in a warehouse until some certain date? Is this some sort of "Wait to Enjoy" beer?

 

its not like this is the only beer that this happens to. a lot of specialty beers have specific release dates, and most accounts will comply with them

 

It hasn't been held in a warehouse - Stone gave June 17 as the release date because they expected the 17th to be the first day distributors made deliveries after receiving the product. The Stone distributor I deal with received their allotment yesterday.

Finding a beer a week or two in advance happens because the beer doesn't all leave the brewery at once, and some distributors get the product before others.

 

Maybe so, but this still seems silly when we're talking about a DIPA.

$12.. woah. Stearns, Valley Beverage, and some other places posted on instagram that they got it today.

 

Picked up 3 at hi times. Baycrest is supposed to get one case today too

Stone Pasadena got a couple of cases in today. No limits. Looked like around 40+ cases was wheeled in at 11. Got one + 3=15. A small line at opening and then mellowed out in 20 minutes.
