Rum Barrel-Aged Death By Coconut

I sure hope it's better than last year. The general consensus was that it wasn't any better than regular Death By Coconut. Certainly not worth the 5 hours some people waited to purchase cans. I have full confidence that the release will go much smoother this year though, esp. with no Rum-barrel TenFidy being released.

My thoughts are similar. Though I thought it was good, I was expecting a lot more rum and coconut, both were muted.
If I weren't working that day, I'd go. But I don't find myself despondent over not getting it.

Well, it was because it took over 3 hours to process people after the release started. The people who waited that long had no idea what they were in for. And after you've already waited 4 hours, are you really just gonna leave knowing your "number" is coming up soon?

The releases going forward should be handled much better / smoother / slightly faster. They are still only having 1 register. Here's an idea- if you have hundreds of people in line, maybe allocate 2 POS's?

 

The BA Java FIDY release was 100% smoother than that mess last year. One problem that still remains: 2 servers on beer in the Oak Room (assuming they're doing it the same way as BA Java) made for a looooong wait just to get a beer. It didn't help that they started things off with a nonfunctioning cash register.

 

They really need more than one register for these releases. I went to the BA Fidy release and waited for a few hours for my number to be called, even though I had arrived well before the doors opened. As well as waiting 20 or so minutes in a line of about 6 people to get a pour. I went from being excited, to annoyed, to upset.
