I missed out on both of these. I know bottle counts were not huge for either, so I'm probably SOL at this point, but if any local Twin Cities BAs have an extra of one or both, and can hook me up, I'd be most grateful! Additionally, any tap sightings lately (or any coming up)? Cheers!
I would call first, but it sounded like Rum King was still on tap at Indeed. It looks like Lift Bridge is making the rounds with same tap take covers, they just posted about St Cloud, that they have been bringing BA Silhouette. I also believe they still have it on tap at their tap room. Bottles may be hard to get, but it looks like you can still get them on tap.
If you got something you're willing to trade, put up an ISO in the ISO FT in person, and I, or someone else may be able to help
I have a bottle of BA Silhouette but I'm looking for a bottle of Rum King to trade. I made a couple ISO/FT posts with no hits.
I had rum king on tap at republic Calhoun two nights ago. They had an indeed tap takeover. It might still be on.
They had it on tap Tuesday, but sent back last night & they were all out. Sorry. I was hoping it was still on.
That is too bad, I really want to try it. 3 squares would have been an easy place to stop at on my way home. Hopefully I can find it some where. Thank you for responding with an actual constructive respone.
Touche. However, Bond111 did appear to have specific knowledge and I was just asking him if he knew. Also, while I did say to call, it was because I wasn't totally sure and didn't want to send the guy there if they didn't. Your response was just douchey.
Enjoyed a Rum King yesterday at Republic Uptown. It was still on as of about 330. I'd still love to get a bottle of this, and BA Silhouette; I have some XHoPS (Yellow and Red) Abyss, & one BCBBW I could trade.. I'll post in the trading forum also, to do it "properly". Keep in mind that at the brewery the BA Silouette was being served on CO2 and nitro. It seemed most people really didn't care as much for the nitro. At the time they didn't specify that they had both so I'm not sure what I tasted there. Just something to ask if you call the brewery.
I was at the release party and the beertenders asked if you wanted regular or nitro. I had both, and the nitro version pretty much muted out the bourbon barrel flavor. The CO2 version highlighted the bourbon barrel flavor. If you didn't get the bourbon flavor, you had the nitro version.
